About
A Year of Sacred Study with Dr. Carla Ionescu Beginning in January 2026, this twelve month workshop series explores goddesses from across the ancient Mediterranean and Near East. Each month features a two hour live session that examines archaeology, myth, ritual practice, and the historical settings that shaped each deity. All workshops are recorded, and recordings remain available for the full year. The series moves through Mesopotamia, Anatolia, Greece, Egypt, Rome, and early Ireland. Featured figures include Inanna, Cybele, Hecate, Isis, Artemis of Ephesus, Aphrodite, Demeter, Athena, Persephone, Medusa, Brigid, and the Mistress of Animals. Each workshop stands on its own, and together they form a full arc that follows themes of descent, protection, transformation, renewal, and divine presence within human communities. Registration is available for the full year or for individual workshops. The program is designed for anyone interested in goddess history, sacred landscapes, ancient rituals, and the continuing influence of the divine feminine across cultures.
